Job Segment: Technician, Technolog

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

You will be required to complete a high level of fault finding on Electrostar and Aventra units, whilst also providing on-going technical advice to managers and technicians working on the fleet.. Take responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional workmanship of oneself and others under your control. Undertake ‘Designated Person’ and ‘Nominated Person’ safety responsibility for applying Depot Protection System and ensure safe systems of work methods are applied.

• HNC (or equivalent experience) in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activities
• Good level of Electrostar Technical Knowledge. Aventra knowledge also desirable.
• Practical hands-on approach to problem solving
• Safety Critical Competencies
• Experience in fault finding / Diagnostic skills electrically and mechanically
• Highly self-motivated individual, able to work under your own initiative
• You will possess excellent communication and Leadership Skills
• Alstom System Knowledge (Orbita and Maximo)
• Meticulous record keeping
