QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of high-rise residential construction estimating (GTA experience preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel expertise required); familiarity with Procore, Revit, BIM, or Plan Swift is an asset
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to manage and prepare cost estimates from conceptual design through to construction documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of high-rise residential construction, experience with trade contractor pricing, and a proven ability to work within tight deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and present accurate cost estimates and budgets
• Coordinate with consultants to obtain required project data
• Verify trade pricing using historical data and current market trends
• Partner with Project Managers to analyze and compare bids
• Recommend value engineering options and cost-saving strategies
• Organize and manage estimating schedules and workload priorities
• Review drawings, specifications, and other documentation for estimating purposes
• Support tender processes and bid analysis
• Maintain and update unit rate data and pre-qualified subtrade lists
• Collaborate with internal teams to support scheduling and budget accuracy
