Pathway Schools is a private, soccer-specific academy designed to balance high-level athletic training with academic excellence. Students train in the mornings and engage in academics during the second half of the day. Our mission is to develop Better Humans, Better Students, Better Athletes. We provide small-group, focused learning environments with personalized support, ensuring that every student-athlete stays on track for graduation, NCAA eligibility, and future success.

POSITION: HIGH SCHOOL FACILITATOR/TEACHER

We are seeking passionate and adaptable educators to join our growing high school team. This is a unique opportunity for an educator who thrives in small-group settings, values student engagement, and wants to play a key role in shaping both our students and the growth of our school.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field required; Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching experience (private school, online instruction, or small group facilitation experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Comfort with technology and online learning platforms (Edmentum/EdOptions experience a plus).
  • Passion for working with student-athletes and supporting their dual commitment to sports and academics.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset—open to building and growing within a fast-expanding school network.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate small-group and individualized instruction to ensure student engagement and academic progress.
  • Support students in mastering online curriculum (EdOptions Academy) and provide additional guidance, tutoring, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with administration to monitor progress toward graduation and NCAA eligibility requirements.
  • Dedicate 3 hours daily to planning, grading, and preparation to maximize instructional impact.
  • Provide consistent communication with families and administration on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Model and reinforce the school’s Better Humans values of respect, discipline, and character.
  • Contribute ideas, systems, and initiatives to grow the high school program and strengthen school culture.
  • Participate in staff training, professional development, and accreditation processes.
