Description Job Type: Part Time Position: High School Athletic Coach Description The Athletic Coach is responsible for leading and developing a successful athletic program that supports the academic, social, emotional, and athletic growth of student-athletes. Coaches are expected to model professionalism, sportsmanship, integrity, and leadership while creating a safe, structured, and positive team culture aligned with the mission and vision of the school athletic program. Coaches must promote student-athlete development, academic accountability, discipline, teamwork, and a college-ready mindset through daily instruction, communication, and program leadership. Focus Areas Competitive excellence and advanced athletic development College readiness and leadership development Program culture, visibility, and long-term success Preparing athletes for postsecondary opportunities High School Coach Expectations Implement advanced skill development and competitive strategy Build a strong program culture aligned with school expectations Promote college readiness, leadership, and recruitment opportunities Maintain high standards for academics, attendance, and conduct Collaborate with administration on scheduling, compliance, and program growth Support offseason development, conditioning, and athlete retention Requirements Qualifications Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and administration Knowledge of sport-specific rules, strategies, and player development Ability to supervise and manage student-athletes effectively Must meet all district and athletic compliance requirements Work Expectations Availability for practices, games, meetings, and team events outside regular school hours Ability to travel for athletic events as assigned Ability to supervise students in indoor and outdoor athletic environments Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and conduct at all times Compensation: Stipend Position
