As a Science teacher at ISNA High, you will be confident in implementing the Ontario science curriculum and approach teaching to cater to students’ needs. You will optimize the use of the technology available. You will support all learners with diverse strategies and approaches and bring innovative solutions to learning challenges experienced by students. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, or engineering (master’s degree an asset)
• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) status in “Good Standing” preferred; equivalent qualifications considered
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Knowledge of Ontario Curriculum and current teaching and assessment practices
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Passion for science education and student success
• 2+ years of teaching sciences to senior levels preferred
