POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking two passionate and caring ESL teachers to teach high school English courses tailored for international students. The ideal candidates will not only understand the unique challenges faced by ESL learners, but will also have the patience, empathy, and dedication to help each student grow academically and personally. Creativity in using multiple teaching methods is essential to enhance students’ abilities in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• TESL/TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent.
• Experience teaching ESL at the high school level, preferably to international students.
• Strong understanding of the difficulties faced by ESL learners and strategies to address them.
• Passion for education and a caring attitude towards student growth.
• Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom engagement.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience working in multicultural classrooms.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into ESL instruction.
• Knowledge of standardized English proficiency tests (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
