There are many biblical lessons and discipleship opportunities available as we strive to reach our fullest potential athletically. We are looking for a high school Girls Basketball Assistant Coach who can come alongside the head coach and support them in coaching and developing basketball players. Job Responsibilities: Help coach and promote consistent philosophies and continuity with the Varsity Head Coach. Support the head coach in communicating philosophies and vision for the program to parents and extended school family. Equip CVCS athletes with instruction to develop skillset and necessary motivation to continually improve on the court. Build relationships and invest in the lives of our young women, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ as they see Christ living in you. Attend off-season activities as available. Requirements • A testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. • Desire to invest in and disciple students in their relationship with the Lord. • Be spiritually mature with demonstrated leadership experience. • Previous coaching staff experience at the high school or collegiate level and/or playing experience at the collegiate level. • Previous youth discipleship experience preferred. Job Data: • Hours: 15-20 hours/week during the season. Off-season hours vary. • Salary: $1,000 • Starting date: The 2025 season begins November 4, 2025. • End date: February 19, 2025
Responsibilities
Assist the head coach in developing basketball players and promoting consistent coaching philosophies. Build relationships with athletes to help them grow in their faith and skills on the court.
