Description

Junipero Serra High School, a co-educational Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, is seeking a mission-driven and highly skilled part time Information Technology Coordinator to oversee the school’s technology infrastructure and systems.
The IT Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that all digital tools and platforms used by the school function efficiently, securely, and in alignment with the school’s mission to serve and educate. This includes maintaining the network, supporting hardware and software across campus, assisting staff with key platforms like PowerSchool and QuickBooks, and planning for future technology growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT systems management; experience in a school environment preferred
  • Familiarity with Student Information Systems (PowerSchool) and finance software (Blackbaud)
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace for Education, Apple devices/software (iMac, MacBook, iPad), and PCs
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement technology strategies and infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to the mission of Catholic education and supporting student learning through technology
