Blvd and 6th (lines 6, 52, 55, 86, 93)   Internship Information: Format: (In-Person Only)   In-Person Positions Available:   2 Technology Used:    Uniforms Provided Internship Title:    Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant Internship Description/Learning Objectives:   As a member of the North Point Team, the Laundry and Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for the collection, cleaning, maintenance, and distribution of apparel, sheets, blankets, towels, and other linen from guest rooms and any other areas within the hotel.  Job Duties:   Count and collect sheets from different parts of the hotel and guest rooms or laundry chutes (if applicable) Wash, dry, iron, and fold collected sheets Distribute laundered materials to the appropriate departments Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry rooms, supply rooms, and other areas as assigned   Preferred Competencies:   Customer Service experience preferred.  Experience in a laundry setting is preferred.     General Information: Work Schedule Days and Hours:   Monday thru Thursday 11:00am – 5:30pm   Dress Code:   Work uniform, nametag, slip resistant shoes. Travel Required:   N/A Physical Requirements:   Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 45 pounds without assistance. Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time. Requires ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Working Conditions: (example: Office Warehouse, Outdoors, with Children or Animals, etc.)   Hotel, indoors.   The full program is June 1st – July 17th    June 1st – June 3rd:   Interns attend work readiness skills training from 8am – 12pm. June 4th:                      Attend employer orientation meeting. June 5th:                      POWER Youth Summit at Sheraton Music City Nashville Airport June 8th – July 17th:   Youth will report to their employer worksite location on Monday –                                         Thursday or special schedule workday at the time                                          scheduled by employer. Responsibilities
