• Prepares the tutor room at the beginning of the year. Retrieves books and supplies.

• Supports the efforts of guidance counselors, speech/language pathologists, school psychologists, and other program support specialist.
• Seeks assistance as needed to identify environmental and instructional modifications that support the attainment of educational goals for students.
• Supports an inclusive educational environment. Provides opportunities for students with disabilities to participate in appropriate peer group activities.
• Assists with test modifications when necessary to promote student success by addressing specific learning disabilities (e.g., reading test questions, transcribing student responses, providing additional time, etc.).
• Participates in periodic reevaluations and annual review conferences.
• Makes recommendations concerning the placement of students for the next year.
