We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Math Teacher to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of mathematics teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of the North American math curriculum。
  • Familiarity with the Singapore Math approach, particularly the Model Drawing method, and the ability to effectively teach and apply it.
  • Thorough knowledge of grade-level curriculum expectations and learning outcomes across elementary and/or middle school mathematics.
  • Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with students.
  • Skilled at supporting students with diverse learning needs and adapting instruction accordingly.
  • Able to develop structured lesson plans and assign meaningful homework that reinforces classroom learning.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to student progress and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality math lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.
  • Use effective teaching strategies, including Singapore Math Model Drawing, to strengthen students' problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Prepare lesson materials, homework, and assessments tailored to students' learning needs.
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistent instructional quality and student achievement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching students from Grades 1–12.
  • Experience preparing students for advanced math programs or competitions is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification is an asset but not required for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
