Scholars of Calgary Capitol Hill is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time High School Math/Science Teacher / Tutor to join our team. If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding work environment, we want to hear from you!

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:

• Alberta Certified Teacher​ is preferred
• Previous experience working with children in a tutoring environment is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English.
• Have a passion to help students reach their potential.
• Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail.
• Ability to teach groups of up to 2 students
• Must be able to teach math or science up to grade 12, including the following subjects: Math 30-1, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Data Management, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
• Teachers who are qualified and competent to teach additional subjects are preferred.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week during the following times.

• Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm
• Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 pm
• Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calgary, AB T2M 1G5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• teaching / tutoring: 1 year (required)
