Scholars of Richmond Hill is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic part-time high school math (calculus, data management, functions) and science (biology, chemistry, physics) teacher to join our team. If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding work environment, we want to hear from you!

Scholars has provided 25 years of tutoring services all across the country and North America. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars’ teaching methodology. Candidates must be confident teaching high school concepts up to grade 12.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• Ontario Certified Teacher is preferred
• Candidates in Teacher College or university designation towards Math/Science are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience working with students is an asset.
• Excellent English oral and written skills.
• A passion to help students reach their potential.
• Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.
• Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students.
• Must be able to teach Math up to grade 12, Biology up to grade 12, Chemistry up to grade 12, Physics up to grade 12, and English up to grade 10.
• Hours of operation: Monday - Fridays 3:00 - 8:00 pm & Saturday 9:00 - 2:00 PM.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation above.

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
