POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across a range of math subjects, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or those eligible for certification.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum.
• Teach math courses at various levels, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.
• Maintain a well-organized and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Use diverse teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessment tools, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
