REQUIREMENTS:

  • Language: English and Mandarin
  • Strong subject knowledge: Proficiency in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (at least two subjects), with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Degree in a relevant field: Must hold a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with high school curriculum: Familiarity with the grade 9-12 curriculum and the ability to prepare students for advanced assessments and exams.
  • Caring and patient: Must enjoy working with high school students and be committed to their academic and personal development.
  • Class management skills: Strong classroom management skills are essential to create a structured and productive learning environment in both small group and private lesson settings.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to new teaching methods, tools, and changing academic requirements.
  • Team player: Willing to collaborate with other teachers and staff, and be flexible to assist with additional teaching responsibilities as needed.
  • Previous teaching experience in high school Math and Science subjects is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver small-group and one-on-one lessons to Grades 9–12 students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (proficiency in at least two subjects required).
  • Create customized lesson plans that align with each student’s skill level, curriculum requirements, and learning goals.
  • Clearly explain complex concepts across topics such as algebra, calculus, mechanics, thermodynamics, chemical reactions, and biological systems.
  • Prepare students for exams, including standardized tests and advanced science or math assessments.
  • Apply engaging, interactive teaching strategies to strengthen problem-solving abilities and deepen conceptual understanding.
  • Offer timely feedback and actionable guidance to drive academic improvement.
  • Maintain a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic excellence.
