POSITION OVERVIEW:

BioSteel Sports Academy is seeking a passionate and committed High School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working in a high-performance environment with student-athletes and bring strong subject-matter expertise (with a focus on Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), innovative instructional strategies, and the adaptability to meet the unique demands of a competitive athletic schedule.

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with the Ontario curriculum (or other recognized educational frameworks)
• Design and implement adaptable lesson plans that account for training and travel commitments
• Cultivate a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages academic growth and personal development
• Collaborate closely with coaches, academic advisors, and families to track and support student progress
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students meet both academic and athletic objectives
• Actively contribute to school life by participating in professional development, events, and fostering a collaborative school culture
