Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that encompasses history, government, economics, and global issues fostering critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Develop curriculum that challenges students to explore complex economic, political, and social systems promoting advanced understanding and responsible citizenship.
  • Assesses and evaluates student performance through a variety of methods including: assignments, presentations, debates, projects, and assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Create a collaborative and intellectually stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation, inquiry, and diverse perspectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student growth and address individual learning needs, particularly within the demands of advanced coursework.
  • Guide students in building sophisticated research, analysis, and presentation skills essential for higher education and future leadership roles.
