JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing students’ academic success. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills to engage students in their educational journey. The teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering instruction in various subjects, and supporting students’ individual learning needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification is preferred.
• Proven classroom experience with high school students; experience working with multicultural students is an asset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to students and parents.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Leadership qualities that inspire students to achieve their best potential.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards across subjects such as English and Humanities courses.
• Provide tutoring support to students who require additional assistance in their studies.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including special education needs.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects while providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance metrics.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
• Utilize technology effectively in the classroom, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
