The Commission scolaire francophone des territoires du nord ouest is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Teacher specialization - French Language to join our dynamic team. Qualifications

  • Completion of a Teacher Education Program diploma or a Bachelor of Education degree.
  • Eligibility for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate.

Key Considerations

The following qualifications will be considered strong assets in the hiring process:

  • Experience teaching French at the secondary level (Grades 7 to 12)
  • Experience teaching in a JK-12 environment.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the NWT French First Language curriculum.
  • Ability to use student data to inform instruction.
  • Experience with multi-grade classrooms and differentiated instruction.
  • Familiarity with or openness to technology integration in the classroom.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.
