Posting: 1.0 FTE High School & Middle School Teachers (Temporary) Location: Father Patrick Mercredi Catholic High School & Holy Trinity Catholic High SchoolStart Date: As soon as available June 27 2025Closing Date: Open Until FilledThe Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking multiple temporary 1.0 FTE full-time teachers; grade 7 to grade 12 including specializing in math, sciences and humanities (ELA, Social Studies, etc) for temporary positions in the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. These are temporary positions through to the end of the school year with the possibility of extension thereafter. Duties of Elementary School teachers may include but, not limited to, the following: identify students individual and collective learning needs plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential help students learn appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes. meet with parents evaluate and communicate student progress prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities attend meetings, seminars, and in-service training sessions.
