Learning Minds is an after-school tutoring center, that is currently seeking positions for Centre Directors and experienced tutors in all subject areas for students between Grade 5 and Grade 12 for teaching IN CLASS:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Math
- Biology
- English
- French
We help both Struggling and Gifted students reach their full potential by :
- Supplementing the instruction they receive in class,
- Guiding them toward study practices and aides that can help them excel,
- Providing non-classroom, academic instruction to students on an individual or small-group basis for proactive or remedial purposes,
- Reviewing class material with students by discussing the text, working solutions to problems, or reviewing worksheets or other assignments,
- Providing feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.
We are also expecting our Potential Tutors to have:
- Teaching certificate preferred but not mandatory,
- 2+ years experience tutoring children and teenagers even freshers with passion can apply,
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening,
- Reliable transportation,
- Able to develop a positive rapport with students,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Established proficiency in subject matter,
- Work Part-Time with a salary of $18 to $30 per hour.
You would be working with a maximum of 2-3 students at the time.
