EDvantage Educational Consulting and Tutoring is seeking enthusiastic and reliable High School Tutors to support students in Grades 9–12 across key subjects: Math & English
We are looking for candidates who can travel within Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton & Georgetown for in-person appointments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience tutoring or teaching high school students.
• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core area: Math or English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and supportive teaching approach.
• Teaching certification (OCT) or classroom experience is an asset.
• Ability to work in-person and remote

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Located in or near the above mentioned areas for in-person sessions.

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Grades 9–12 subjects.
• Support students in Math & English
• Plan and deliver customized lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet learning needs.
• Communicate with parents and students about academic development.
• Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
