QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge in multiple subject areas (Math, English, Science, etc.).
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and able to connect with students of varying learning styles.
• High school diploma required; college/university degree or current enrollment is preferred.
• Must be available for 7 hours per week (schedule to be determined).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a patient, reliable, and enthusiastic Academic Tutor to support student athletes up to the high school level. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to explain concepts clearly, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide group tutoring sessions for students in elementary through high school. Not to run a class just to answer questions and help students.
• Assist students in core subjects such as Math, English, Science, and other relevant coursework.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
• Help with homework, test preparation, and study skills.
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
