Access to Ventia’s: amazing discounts at over 450 retailers across Australia, including major retail brands About the role As a proactive HV Electrician, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of High Voltage electrical operations of the Defence facilities. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for planned, re-active and preventative maintenance across HV Electrical assets. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, including experience in HV/LV electrical systems, power distribution systems, circuit breakers and control panels as well as comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards. About you Hold a Trade Certificate – Certificate in III Electrotechnology Hold a Victorian (A Grade) Electrical licence Hold a current High Voltage Operation - H.V. Switching certificate Hold a current Australian Drivers licence Ability of fault finding on high voltage electrical assets and provide timely reactive maintenance Previous experience in completing work orders and verifying tasks in accordance with requirements Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably. You contribute to a culture where safety incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported promptly and constructively. Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
