WE ARE SEEKING A HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT WITH EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX NEEDS TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT SYTHWOOD PRIMARY AND NURSERY SCHOOL, PART OF BOURNE EDUCATION TRUST.

We are looking to recruit a part-time HLTA. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a specialist school with children with complex and severe learning difficulties and ASD. You will be willing to undertake appropriate training, under the supervision of an external ABA consultant, to support a pupil’s intensive behaviour programme (Applied Behaviour Analysis – ABA).
You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, attending meetings, liaising with professionals, preparing resources, recording detailed observations and behaviour data, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
