LOCATION: LAMBETH SLD/PMLD COMPLEX NEEDS IMMEDIATE START

We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded SEND school, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and complex needs.
This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm), ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive and structured environment and is passionate about inclusive education.

As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, delivering planned sessions, and helping lead small groups or cover classes when needed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly SLD/PMLD

  • Able to lead small group sessions and contribute to planning and assessment
  • Empathetic, proactive, and a strong communicator
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
