Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Manchester to recruit a dedicated SEN HLTA to start in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team committed to transforming the lives of children who require additional behavioural and emotional support.

YOUR NEW ROLE

• Support pupils aged 5-11 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and additional learning difficulties.
• Deliver tailored interventions and small group sessions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities.
• Help manage behaviour positively and consistently, using de-escalation strategies.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
