Thrive Education are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
  • Class Cover and Leadership: Confidently lead classes for agreed lessons, PPA cover, and short-term absences, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning atmosphere. This includes managing behaviour effectively and adapting teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Curriculum Support: Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning activities across the primary curriculum.
  • Pupil Support: Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Contribute to the assessment of pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and maintaining accurate records.
  • Resource Management: Prepare and organise resources and learning materials to support classroom activities.
  • Pastoral Care: Support the social and emotional well-being of pupils, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with teachers, other HLTAs, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil development.
