The main aim of this role is to support our teachers to deliver academic excellence, day in, day out, with professionalism and enthusiasm.
The basis of this role is fixed term, initially for one year, 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset, offering an actual salary of £24,339 - £26,830 per annum (£28,297- £31,194 full time equivalent), based on experience.
Working for Leigh Academy Milestone: Leigh Academy Milestone is a large special school for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs, across five sites and is part of Leigh Academies Trust. We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join and support our wider SEN teams at Leigh Academy Milestone in New Ash Green and/or across our provisions at Wilmington Academy, The Leigh Academy, Leigh Academy Dartford and Leigh Academy Cherry Orchard. This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties, and also a fantastic opportunity for those considering a career in Teaching to gain valuable first-hand experience. This is a great role for those who already have a relevant qualification and experience in an HLTA capacity.
