Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will learn how to work in a professional environment. You will gain hands-on experience, learn how our organization runs and gain valuable insight on career choices. In addition to office duties, the intern will have the opportunity to work with all levels of personnel including C-suite members of the team. Tasking includes researching, presentation development, document reviews, and meeting support. This is a paid internship. If selected for the position, you must pass a reference and/or background check. Responsibilities Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed Complete floor plan designs via AutoCAD modeling and other design tools Create visual concepts of floor plans and office furniture design according to project requirements Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise designs as needed Assist in preparing information and research materials Take notes and memos during meetings Communicate design concepts and pitches to relevant stakeholders Collaborate with creative teams for cohesive deliverable Run general industry related errands Manage databases and input information, data, and records Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations Miscellaneous duties as assigned Qualifications Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Students must be at least 15 years of age and in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas Must have a 3.25 or above GPA Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance
