We invite you to join the Highway & Traffic Service on this exciting journey to pioneer the next generation of highway infrastructure, and lead on design, development and commissioning of high impact highway and traffic projects. Chart the course for critical infrastructure, as our highway design and commissioning manager, you’ll orchestrate complex projects working to a vast range of key stakeholders, blending cutting-edge design with meticulous execution to deliver world class highways in a London local authority with one of the highest population counts and the second largest highway network London local authority.
The role will involve managing a team of qualified engineers with expertise in highway and traffic engineering, and hold substantial knowledge of Croydon’s highways, political landscape and history of improvement opportunities, with good innovative ideas noteworthy of bringing to fruition.
