Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

In this role you’ll deliver all works in a manner which meets or better your targets. Whilst undertaking these activities in a safe manner and to the required specification.
You’ll supervise both in-house and subcontracted works, and programme your works to be delivered as per instruction from our Client/Manager.
We’ll require you to be flexible to work across other depots and help other supervisors. To ensure a consistently high level of delivery across the contract.
You’ll undertake pre-works reviews to ensure buildability ad continual focus on operational gross margins of all work that you are delivering. From the pre-works planning stage, to on-site supervision.
You’ll work with our commercial team, establish estimates based on an agreed schedule of rates. Establish a target scheme programme and monitor your works, review and hot cost progress.
We’ll ask you to monitor all works activities to ensure the programme remains on track. You’ll also match resource needs to ensure the programme delivers on time and budget and provide regular updates on ASTA (programmes) and Causeway (costing).
The role will include line-manage responsibly of the gangs daily, setting work targets, undertaking regular developmental reviews. You’ll be dealing with all issues that may arise with support from the Area Manager.
You’ll deliver tool-box-talks and any safety briefing’s as they arise. Deliver communication plan as agreed in annual improvement imitative.
You’ll proactively, communicate, and support with our behavioural safety programme – “It Starts With Me”
We may require you to assist with the delivery of our winter maintenance and out of–hours operations.
