Description

HIM CLERK WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: * Preparing patient surgical charts and gathering information documents from patients. * Ensuring that the medical records / surgical charts are organized, accurate and complete. * Management and filing of patient records, paperwork and reports. * Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with HIPAA standards. * Collaborating with Nursing staff to obtain a required pre admission documents in advance of scheduled surgery. * Assisting Pre-Op and PACU with records/document needs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing, organizing, and safeguarding patient surgical charts and medical records. Collaborates with nursing staff and Pre-Op/PACU teams to ensure all required pre-admission documentation is complete.
