Are you an experienced Hire Controller/Hire Manager looking for a new challenge?
We currently have a vacancy at our depot in Kirkby-in-Ashfield for an experienced Hire Controller on a full time and permanent basis.
Established in March 2007, Richmond Plant Hire Limited is a family-owned plant and tool hire company based in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. We are dedicated to delivering quality, excellence, and reliability to our customers at all times.
Covering the East Midlands, Richmond Plant Hire supplies and delivers to businesses and trades across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
As a Hire Controller you will have responsibility for all areas and aspects of the hire desk, ensuring targets and the highest possible standards of customer satisfaction are achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in a Customer Service role, preferably handling in-bound order and/or sales enquiries using your skills and experience to successful complete transactions and satisfy customer requirements
  • Experience in developing and utilising product knowledge with a willingness to learn further
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiating skills and the ability to upsell products
  • The ability to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
  • A strong team player with collaborative approach to work
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to work with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • The ability to think outside of the box and be an effective problem solver
  • A good level of computer literacy in MS Office packages and experience using a CRM - preferably Syrinx/Syrinx 365
  • The ability to co-ordinate a day book/diary to ensure that all forms of task are completed by both drivers and fitters
  • You will have a good knowledge of the local area for the planning of transport and multiple delivery timescales
  • A passion for great customer service and a desire to progress within your role
  • Experience within the plant and tool hire industry would be advantageous to fulfil this rol
