HIRE & SALES CO-ORDINATOR

Location: Inverness
Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 + Bonus (paid twice yearly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
Are you a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering great service? We are looking for a Hire & Sales Co-ordinator to join a fast-paced, friendly depot in Inverness. If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a key part of the depot team, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with hire enquiries, equipment availability, and coordinating logistics. You’ll also play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels, processing hires through internal systems, and supporting wider depot operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Handling incoming calls and orders, giving expert advice on products and availability
  • Working closely with engineers, drivers, and depot staff to ensure timely deliveries and collections
  • Coordinating daily equipment movement and managing lifting schedules
  • Processing hires, off-hires, and internal transfers using Smart Office
  • Promoting add-on sales and consumables to maximise revenue
  • Keeping the showroom clean, well-stocked, and in line with company presentation standards
  • Liaising with other depots to source equipment and meet customer demands
  • Supporting with credit control and resolving invoice queries efficiently
