OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Carpenters, HVAC Technicians, Painter, 3rd, 4th year or Journeyman Plumber and Skilled Laborer, to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to Carpenters, HVAC Technicians, Painter, 3rd, 4th year or Journeyman Plumber and Skilled Laborer, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and techniques, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding project layouts.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to each trade and construction work.
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
  • Basic masonry skills for structural support tasks are beneficial.
  • Competency in carpentry practices, including framing and finishing work.
  • Understanding of plumbing basics may be advantageous for certain projects.
  • Experience with concrete forming techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials.
  • Build, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fixtures (e.g., walls, stairways, partitions).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality and accuracy of work.
  • Collaborate with other trades as needed on construction sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure systems comply with safety and environmental standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Provide clear documentation and reports on services performed.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, scraping, priming, patching holes).
  • Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
  • Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications.
  • Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment efficiently and cleanly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Ensure proper protection of surrounding surfaces and cleanup after work is completed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Learn and apply plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Use hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures.
  • Continue developing skills through hands-on experience and classroom learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently install, maintain, and repair water, gas, and drainage systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and local plumbing codes.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues effectively.
  • Supervise apprentices and provide guidance and training.
  • Ensure all work is up to code and completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist various trades on construction sites, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
  • Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, loading, and unloading materials.
  • Operate basic tools and machinery as required.
