REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience as a chef or line cook, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, and street food.
• Maintain high-quality food preparation standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including prep work, cooking, and plating.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering ingredients, and ensuring minimal food wastage.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Adjust recipes and seasoning according to customer preferences when needed.
• Handle kitchen equipment properly and ensure regular maintenance.
