Job Description Looking for Software Tester Experience : 1 to 2 Years Job Location : Basheerbagh , Hyderabad Work from office & 6 days working Jd : Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Analyze user stories, specifications, and requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues. Defect Management: Log and track defects using a defect tracking system, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution. Reporting and Communication: Prepare clear and concise test reports, communicate findings to stakeholders, and participate in meetings to discuss testing progress and issues. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing after bug fixes and software updates to ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected. Test Environment Setup: Set up and maintain the test environment, including test data and necessary tools. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient software development lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Apply quality engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills . Excellent communication and collaboration skills . Experience with manual and automated testing techniques . Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies . Knowledge of testing tools and defect tracking systems . Ability to work independently and as part of a team . Experience in data analysis . Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously . Understanding of different types of testing: functional, integration, regression, performance. Familiarity with Agile methodologies: is often preferred.
