Role Overview: We are seeking a structured, industry-aware Front Office & Hospitality Educator to lead Front Office training for Grades XI and XII (NIOS-aligned) and support Hospitality training under the Career & Technical Education (CTE) program. This is a full-time role requiring engagement across all six working days. For four academic days per week, the educator will teach Front Office aligned to the NIOS curriculum for Grades XI and XII. For two CTE days (Fridays and alternate Saturdays), the educator will conduct practical Hospitality training in coordination with the Culinary Arts Hub. The ideal candidate combines academic clarity with industry exposure in hospitality operations, front office management, guest services, and professional grooming standards. Key Responsibilities: ● Front Office Instruction - Grades XI & XII (NIOS Aligned) ○ Deliver Front Office curriculum aligned with NIOS guidelines for Grades XI and XII. ○ Cover front office operations, guest handling, reservation systems, billing procedures, and communication protocols. ○ Teach hospitality terminology, documentation standards, and professional correspondence. ○ Prepare students for NIOS assessments while ensuring applied understanding. ○ Conduct mock practical exams, viva sessions, and scenario-based simulations. ● Hospitality Training - CTE Program (Grades 9-12) ○ Conduct hands-on hospitality training during CTE days (Fridays & alternate Saturdays). ○ Train students in guest interaction, reception etiquette, and service professionalism. ○ Simulate real-world hospitality situations (check-in/check-out, complaint handling, etc). ○ Teach grooming standards, body language, communication skills, and workplace discipline. ● Industry Simulation & Showcases ○ Coordinate with Culinary Trainer for restaurant service simulations and live events. ○ Prepare students to manage front desk operations during school showcases. ○ Invite hospitality professionals for guest sessions and mock interview panels. ○ Guide students in building professional hospitality portfolios and resumes. ● Curriculum & Skill Development ○ Continuously refine teaching modules in alignment with current hospitality industry standards. ○ Integrate practical exposure into academic curriculum delivery. ○ Design scenario-based learning modules that simulate hotel and restaurant operations. ○ Ensure students develop employable communication and professional behaviour skills. ● Student Engagement & Assessment ○ Track student progress and provide structured feedback. ○ Identify high-potential students and prepare them for internships or placements. ○ Conduct mock interviews and job-readiness workshops.
