Perform quality control procedures and implement corrective action when appropriate. Complete documentation as indicated in regulatory guidelines. Monitor protocols and recommend changes to leadership team as needed. Performs mammography radiographer exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures: Prepares patients for exam, explains procedure, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images. Focus on providing compassionate, professional, and patient-centered customer service and working proactively as part of the Team Requirements Associates Degree or equivalent training/graduation from accredited school of radiology Minimum 2 years of experience as Radiological Tech in Mammography MRT from Texas Medical Board or TX Dept. of State Health Services Bi-Lingual, Spanish & English, preferred Experience//Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or related field Basic Computer knowledge and skills Excellent customer service skills Attention to detail Works well within a team
