Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Hiring Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and ensure we attract, hire, and retain top talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for building diverse and high-performing teams. As a Hiring Manager, you will collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and oversee the entire hiring process from job posting to onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Job Postings: Create compelling job descriptions and post openings on various job boards, social media platforms, and the company website to maximize visibility and reach.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including networking, referrals, and social media, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on candidate selection. Facilitate discussions to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and expectations.
  • Assessment and Selection: Develop and implement assessment tools and techniques to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit. Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on assessment results.
  • Offer Negotiation: Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and benefits discussions, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate acceptance to onboarding.
  • Onboarding: Collaborate with HR and relevant departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and training.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Hiring Manager or in a similar recruitment role, preferably in industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring practices.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges at an early-stage start-up.
