Department Post Anesthesia Care Unit Job Summary Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. *Med Surg Experience Preferred* Shift detail: three 12’s – 9 am to 21:30pm Phase II, needs strong Med Surg experience Salary Details: Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.10, max of salary range is $52.90. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50. Required Qualifications - Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within three (3) years of hire date. - Require Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of hire. - Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Preferred Education BSN: Bachelor of Science Nursing Required License and Certs BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License 3 12 hour shifts a week 0900-2130 Phase II, needs strong Med Surg experience ACLS is not needed Reputation.
