We are searching for a dynamic Front of House Manager - Shoeless Joe’s Keele & St. Clair Ave West
Duties:
Prepare schedules and ensure the restaurant is properly staffed for all shifts.
-Lead, manage, and deliver the Perfect Guest Experience each shift: dine-in, sports bar, take-out, delivery, and guest recovery.
- Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations, including customer service, staff supervision, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
- Train and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize restaurant capacity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and restrooms.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as menus, napkins, condiments, etc., and place orders as needed.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with food handling regulations.
Other duties as required
Experience:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is required.

  • Must have at least 2 years of Restaurant Management experience required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Leadership skills – able to direct, coach, and supervise a team Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have strong initiative.
  • You must be able to perform efficiently during high-volume peak periods.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours during evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have Smart Serve & Food Handler Certification.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
