ASF Ironworks Inc is a small Architectural Metal Shop. We Specialize in Design, Build, Painting and Installation of Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Custom Railing Systems, Gate Systems, and One-Off Custom Fabrication Projects. If you like being challenged, and working in a think tank, this is it. You must be above average with Math and thrive in an ever-changing work environment, where 2 to 3 projects run at once in different phases and bounce around as needed. You must be capable of listening, be given direction or instruction in person, on a napkin or on a print, and ask all the questions you must to be successful.

WHAT WE NEED…

1.) Experienced Vetted Metal Fabricators.
2.) People who possess the skillset, the drive and desire the opportunity to move onward and upward into other positions such as : Shop Lead: The right persons can then train into Shop supervisor or / and Project Management, CAD Drafter, or Sales .
3.) At least 2 qualified, skilled metal fabricators for building and installing metal, stainless steel, and aluminum railing systems, gates, fences, custom fabricated steel and products.
4.) Applicants must be versed in MIG, TIG, STICK, and PLASMA processes. We will train the right people for what you may be lacking if you are motivated and driven.
5.) You must possess all of your own personal layout, measuring and fabrication tools for this type of work and a good welding hood. You must also have a current Oregon Drivers License and be able to be insurable with a clean driving record.
(If you’re wanting to be shop only, No driving, then we may be able to forgo the license requirement.)
These opportunities are temporary to full time hire position; ie: New hires are placed on a 30-60-90 review process which can produce raises and bonuses along the way. Successful applicants will be moved to a full time/permanent hired status after 90 days, qualified for other select company provided benefits after one yr.
