JOB TITLE: HISTOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST

Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 13-week contract

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technologist to support our night shift Pathology Lab operations. This vital role is focused on the accurate preparation and staining of tissue specimens for diagnostic purposes, ensuring timely and precise pathology results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2 years of pathology lab experience
• ASCP certification (HT/HLT)
• Completion of an accredited histology program or related associate degree

• Accession surgical specimens into Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with PA staff to retrieve and organize tissue blocks
• Perform embedding, sectioning, and slide staining
• Support pathology, cytology, and IHC procedures with quality specimen preparation
• Follow lab protocols and maintain regulatory compliance
