HISTORY TEACHER, BUXTON

We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled History Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Buxton.
A secondary school in Buxton are actively seeking a full time History teacher to join them in September 2025. This is a long term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the department within the school; As part of this role will teach up to GCSE level and be responsible for participating in team planning. There is potential for this to be extended.
UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
• Full time availability
• Specialism or experience teaching History (preferred)

• Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils
