POSITION SUMMARY: The Histotechnologist I is responsible for performing all histology duties of the department, except those for which high complexity qualifications are required (Histotech II). A Histotechnologist I has completed a full year as a Histotech Trainee or has at least one year of equivalent experience. Advancement is at the discretion of the Histology Supervisor and is based on competency assessments and candidate’s ability to perform histology tasks independently and without direct supervision. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent, required Minimum one (1) year of experience under a qualified Pathologist, required WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 5:30AM - 2:00PM
