POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for administrative and clinical quality management support to the Minnesota HIV Perinatal & Pediatric Program, functions as a member of the support services team and coordinates grant reporting efforts. This position partners with the Program’s Medical Director, Clinic Manager of Medical Specialties and Program Coordinator as appropriate and is responsible for evaluating patient care, customer satisfaction and clinical outcomes. This position is responsible for assessing program eligibility, leading clinical quality improvement projects, and mandatory reporting to state, county, and federal funders. This position is grant-funded and dependent on continued funding.
Location: Remote MN or WI residents only
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, human services or a related field required

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience working with HIV, Ryan White or other federally funded programs strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in the delivery of services to patients with chronic illness, preferably HIV strongly preferred
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams strongly preferred
  • Experience working with diverse populations (racial, ethnic, socioeconomic status, LGBTQ) strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years experience working within medical records systems strongly preferred

  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytic and planning skills
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations, establishing priorities for meeting deadlines and maintaining workflow
