We are focused on delivering high-quality financial and operational support to our associations while maintaining flexibility and efficiency in our internal operations. Position Overview FPMS is seeking an HOA Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a portfolio of homeowners’ and condominium associations throughout Florida. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and state requirements. This position offers flexibility in both schedule (full-time or part-time) and work environment, with a hybrid structure based in Miami. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting operations for multiple HOA and COA communities Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Reconcile bank accounts and general ledgers Monitor and manage association budgets and reserves Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors Ensure compliance with Florida HOA/COA financial regulations and best practices Work closely with Community Association Managers (CAMs) and board members on financial matters Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for associations Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within HOA/COA or property management Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles Experience with HOA accounting software (e.g., AppFolio, Vantaca, TOPS) is a plus Knowledge of Florida HOA/COA regulations preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and board members Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment What We Offer Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time options available) Hybrid work environment with autonomy Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to grow with a developing organization Exposure to a diverse portfolio of associations across Florida
