REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid BC Hoist Operator Certification (Class A or B)
• Minimum 1–2 years experience on active construction sites
• Good communication and situational awareness on high-rise projects
• Ability to follow direction and prioritize safety at all times
• Punctual, dependable, and physically fit for outdoor conditions

ABOUT THE ROLE:

TRE Designs Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Hoist Operators for high-rise construction projects in Surrey and Vancouver. This is a contract-based position, hired through our temporary labour division, with potential re-engagement on future projects based on performance and project needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate construction hoists to transport materials and personnel
• Conduct daily equipment checks and log inspections
• Coordinate with site crews and supervisors for efficient lift usage
• Ensure all hoist activities comply with WorkSafeBC safety regulations
• Monitor loading capacities and report any mechanical or safety concerns
• Support general site logistics as needed
